Cover Your Eyes!
I just got this "Tree" back and side set in to acclimate in my shop for a commission I will be starting in November:
I love that perfectly placed diamond shape figure in the middle of the back: I won't even try to guess what TomB'sox can see in that shape

Woods Woods Woods
Good Morning AGF Custom Forum,
Lot's of good things coming around lately. The Fiddleback Greta has her finish on, for one thing, and I'm setting her up for completion. Here are a couple pictures I took trying to show what that finish has done: Thanks for viewing! Mark

Thanks Brad, this figure is amazingly deep and uniform. I’m looking forward to getting the strings on and hearing how it sounds!

The Fiddleback Tree certainly does deserve it’s celebrity tree status. A lot of old time wood guys are saying they have never seen better fiddleback figure so I feel fortunate to have gotten a couple of the better sets before they were all gone! The cedar on Indian Rosewood on a small jumbo (or any model) is a great combination. It doesn’t get the credit it deserves. Some of the best sounding guitars I have ever made, regardless of woods, have been cede on Indian Rosewood. I have to say you do a fine job with it too. It was great to hear it in your hands at Woodstock, Mark

Your fiddleback mahogany guitar is looking great.
Also, a while back you posted how you are now angling back the saddle in the bridge for better intonation (based on Alan Carruth info). I have a Carruth, with an intonated nut and saddle and with the saddle angled back. All these little design changes add up.
