A Furch Yellow plus cedar over walnut or hog is my dream guitar (the old G23C-CW). Good luck with the purchase, let us know when you get it (NGD post!)

Wrong. You should use voiceless velar fricative. K is voiceless velar stop.
Like what Scots have in Loch.

That’s the spirit

I have several Furch guitar and had several others that came and went. None of them were duds.

I currently have a 33SR DB (Deep Body) which is equivalent to the yellow line with a more traditional look, and though I have toyed with selling it, every time I pick it up I change my mind.

Sounds like you're a linguist, so I defer to you. I can say it, perhaps just can't explain it.

Yes, the k gets caught in the throat, if that's what you mean by velar frictive.

Please don't bring the Scots into this. I can't understand what language they are even speaking, although they seem to be having a delightful time doing it.

Long video, but somewhere in here this European guy sets everyone straight on the pronounciation.

I had an OM23CR briefly, and currently own three Furch guitars of which two have a cedar top and one is cedar rosewood. Their cedar tops are what they are known best for, and the G23 CRC is probably their best selling instrument. I don’t think you will be disappointed - mine all continue to surprise me with how good they sound and look.

My personal experience makes me prefer the cedar top on a bigger guitar such as the GA. Just my 0.02
Furch has it's own tone. All the specimens I played were on the bright side.

Thank you for your reply!

Do you mind me asking why you got rid of your OM23CR?

Not at all - I was looking at an OM24SR along with the OM23CR and struggled to choose. I ended up with the cedar top as it was what I thought I would buy but found myself thinking about the spruce top a lot over the weeks. I then had an issue with the OM23 that required them to take it back and so I simply swapped it out for the OM24.

I love both my spruce and my cedar topped guitars - they are both top class..

That's Paul Davids and he has a lovely touch. Always enjoy his playing.
However, I still can't pronounce it correctly.
