I am very very much so a beginner. There’s plenty of people on this forum who can clean up a fretboard like no ones business.

The only advice is what I said I was looking for to begin with, overall how could I improve and work on the entire musicality of this cover.

That clarifies things a bit!

For those of us that don't have an innate ability to sing, it takes a lot more focus to be aware of exactly what our voice/ear are up to...

Using a tuner to pitch match can be an eye-opener too...let's you know if you tend to sing flat or sharp...and how many pitches you might be off course.
