That is some amazing mahogany! If they look this good in pictures, they'll be even more amazing in person. Do you have a ship date yet, Joe, or were you planning on making the drive? Really looking forward to hearing a review once you get a chance to "bond" with her ;-) I'll be doing the same on my thread.

Does "finished" in this case mean "installing" the truss rod cover? If so, this might be the first time I'll ever be able to say: "Sure! I can finish that Olson!"

Lol. Seriously, though...according to Jim, he's got some "cheap strings" on them right now to keep the tops under tension for a while before doing final setup.

Funny you should mention Petros. Did you notice their recent price adjustment? I knew I should've dropped a deposit last year...

I'm sure it'll be love at first strum.

I am still debating on the best way to take delivery of the guitar. I'll find a solution soon enough...

Yeah I chatted with Bruce a bit about their new pricing structure and it sounded like they have had a lot of orders coming in in the last year and they wanted to put their prices kind of on the same level as Ryan and Olson and others. They just raised them in July.

Anyway I'm excited for you with this Olson its truly a dream guitar!!!! When you finally get it in your hands its going to knock your socks off!!!!

The guitar isn't in my hands just yet but Jim sent over some studio shots a few days ago.

That's a fine looking guitar, and it's going to a good home. I hope you enjoy it for many years.
