Bob D released this for a reason, possibly a warning.

I love it because it's 17 minutes long, it's a new type of song...very well done...

We all like what we like, and I LOVE this song. This beautiful backing music with his voice floating over it, and his lyrical touches, is hitting me in the perfect way. Thank you Bob Dylan!

Default Murder Most Foul

Not sure if this has been discussed on the forum...I saw no results in my search. Just sat through this 16+ minute opus. Dylan harking back in history and in his own style, and I sat there and relived my 8th grade angst, that terrible day in '63.

I remember my parents sitting on the sofa sobbing with tears running down their faces. They were looking at the TV. I saw a black and white image of a flag draped coffin and was confused. My dad said they had killed the American President and this was his funeral. I joined them on the sofa not appreciating the full significance of the event, but I was upset that both my parents were crying, something I had never seen before. I was four years of age. There is a video of this in my memory still.

The canaries in the coal mine are singing, there are voices worth hearing, Mr. Dylan’s is one of them. (IMHO of course)
