You're not the first one to say the acoustics are pouting.... Many before you have as well.

I traded away my last acoustic. And I'm not so sure I'll replace it.

The Ibanez Tube Screamer has been around a few decades and has been used by everyone, including Stevie Ray Vaughan. It's also been copied many times by other manufacturers. One of the tricks to an overdrive pedal is to put the pedal's gain on low and crank the volume on it.

You are using the 'crunch' term correctly. 'Gain' is another word that is more widely used.

Thanks for this. I'll be looking into a lot of the options over the next few months. Justin Guitar has some easy to learn scales which I am now practicing.

Note to self: Play Martin. She does not like to be neglected....
