Default Gordon Lightfoot Still Touring

He's going to be in concert near me the end of this month. I'm tempted to go. Saw him once back in the 70's. 2 hour's of GL and every one was melted into their seats. Here's a rare interview with GL.

Here's another one that's a bit more intimate.

I saw him a couple years ago (second row center)...he's over 80 now, so of course his voice is weaker...but he was having a ball. He hits the road for a couple months, rests up then heads back out...I'd go...

Also, he has a solo acoustic album of new tunes coming out later this month...

Default Roy Clark

I saw Roy Clark live in the Spring of 1978 at a small venue in rural Indiana. He was mesmerizing. I took my kids to see him about 25 years later. He was a tottering old man by then who had to be helped onto the stage. My kids told their friends that they saw Roy Clark “alive” amidst an audience of “blue hairs”.

Needless to say the experience was not the same.

Canada's greatest national treasure.

For me it doesn't get any better than Gordon Lightfoot.

Saw him in San Antonio about 6 years ago. Always loved Gordon Lightfoot but his voice is shot. The show was a major disappointment.

That was nice. The first song I learned to play and sing was "talking in your sleep"
