I am working on Willie Watson's version of the AC/DC classic "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap". Here he is on acoustic guitar, with some percussion from the backing vocalists. The interview lasts a minute, just fast forward to 60 seconds to skip the talk.

Grinning through the whole song. Which musician are you? Thank you so much for sending that. I’ll have to take some time and listen to more.

I guess I do several but I’ve never thought of it that way. Usually anything that has a tight chugging rhythm works for me. A couple of examples below.

Sympathy For The Devil - Stones
Gimme Three Steps - Skynyrd
Running Down A Dream - Petty

I don't play strictly acoustic, though. I use a modified classical using 0.010 gauge steel (PB) strings, 1/2 step down, with the UST removed from beneath the saddle and attached to a cross brace on the top to tame the Piezo quack. It sounds much more acoustic than a purpose-built steel string acoustic guitar plugged or unplugged. Plus, I get my wide fingerboard and a 12 fretter, and can shift to a nylon string classical without re-acquainting muscle memory.

Our two guitar & bass trio recently became a duo. Oddly myself and the bass player started doing new to us songs originally done on piano. So far we have added these to the list:

Desperado (in D)
Your Song
Piano Man

We need a few more to make a complete set of piano oriented acoustic tunes. This thread has given me some great song suggestions to check out.

Thanks!
