Default Original: Evening Rain

Hi folks,

One of the goals for this year was to re-record a few of my older pieces with different guitars which may not have been around back when the tune first came into place. So, recently I re-recorded Evening Rain.
This one came together on a rainy Friday night......my wife was out, and I had spent time earlier viewing and listening to TE's Antonella's Birthday. One of the chords really "hit" me on that song, and it became the basis for developing Evening Rain LATE into that evening!
So, here's the updated version in my signature, played on the Doerr Legacy, DGDGBE tuning capo 2.
Hope you enjoy!
fred

Bob, thank you so much! This is one of my personal favorites and it also holds memories of a really intense night of composing! The wife was away.....beautiful spring rain.....and THAT CHORD! I really felt like I wanted to do something with it and things were lined up for that.
I have two more songs done and almost ready to post......each are different, upbeat and fun, so watch for: NOODLELICIOUS and.......PUDDLE JUMPING
hoping you'll once again be surprised. Thanks for following along as always!
Best,
Fred

Thank you, Larry! I really appreciate your taking time to listen. Yeah, that chord kind of set me off and created a pathway! It doesn't happen like that too often.....but, when it does............
Best,
Fred

Dustin, always great to hear from you! Thanks for the thoughts/comments, so appreciated.....I agree, Antonella's Birthday is a TE classic.......and his intro with getting the timing right is quite amazing.
Play on!

That was really nice.
By way of suggestion, add the word "Warm" to the title:
"Warm Evening Rain."
That's what it made me think of.
