This is yet another reason why I'm so taken with the AGF. Here we have an unbelievable collaborative guitar being built, and a very well respected luthier wants to take it for a spin! [Tom, you do beautiful work! I'm kind of glad you don't do dreadnought models, because I don't have enough bodily fluids to sell to buy one!]. For some reason that I can't explain, it just seem so cool to have this much talent in one location, all willing to share in each other's excitement.

Todd, how are you going to hold out for the rest of the year? I'd be going nuts!!

Hopefully it won't take that long, but I'm just expecting that so anything less will be a "gift".....which it is anyway

6 months since I've posted on this.....

Rob told me a few days back that the plan was to get it on it's way back to Tim and Mary for the final phase during the first week in September. Might take a couple weeks to get it through customs and from Vancouver to metropolitan Morral OH

Starting to get excited.

When it arrives at the McGit shop I will send an email to you, Todd. I may even add a picture so you know we are back in business on your guitar.

Hey Todd,
Glad to hear the guitar is progressing. Getting it back in the US, and to the final luthier for completion, should be quite a relief.

After all this time we really should name Todd's guitar! I name guitars quite often, but this one deserves a fitting title.

For now I think I will call it "Todd's guitar."

If you let me know when, I'll pop down and take a few pics for everyone!

I don't have the skill level of a full pro, but I'm only 42 minutes away (yes, I timed it!).

It's been in Vancouver for 8 months now. I haven't seen any pictures or been told that anything has been done during it's stay there.

Tim and Mary have very graciously requested it be sent back in whatever state it's in so they can finish it. We were told it will be shipped back to them about 10 days ago, but haven't heard anything yet.

Today is 3 1/2 years since I won the guitar. 2/3 or more of the work that's been done was in about an 8 week window a year ago. The rest has just been waiting.
