Please recommend slide guitar books.
Now that I am a solo musician ,I would like to add some variety to my gigs.
About 10 years ago I had a brief introduction to slide playing at one of the guitar camps. Please recommend some slide technique/songs/books resources-books, DVDs etc. If someone has some extra material,I would be willing to purchase them... Thanks! Gabe |

I'm working my way through Toby Walker's Slide 101 which is fun and starts from zero slide knowledge. It's in open d.

Steve James and Bob Brozman have some great teaching materials for slide guitar.

Scott Ainsley. Never taken a class from him but have heard him play slide multiple times and have spoken to people that have taken his classes. Just released a series of slide lessons on YouTube that look good.

Absolutely Steve James and Scott Ainsley.
Michael Messer also has a great DVD lesson though I'm not sure if it's available currently.
