I always assumed Willie Nelson wrote this song, but I was mistaken. The song was actually written by Johnny Christopher, Mark James and Wayne Carson ca. 1971. Hope you listen and enjoy. Thanks!

Thank you Roger. It's a tough one. A few of the notes seem to fall smack in the middle of my "soft" vocal range. Tried it in different keys, but this one seems to hold out the most potential.
