I like both of my Gibsons (both are black) but the Les Paul is more versatile. Neither of these has the handholding electronic tuners that Gibson is enamored with now.
I had a made in Japan Ibanez, but prefer my Gibsons.

That is the quintessence of a Les Paul!

Its funny because you can find much wilder tops, but if you get too carried away with that you lose something. This guitar can almost have no flame if you hold it at a certain angle.
More than anything the tone is unreal. I never could fall in love with a neck pick up on a Les Paul before I got this. There is such a vintage vibe to the snappy attack when you really dig in. Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |

I get it. Looks like a great guitar. Really clean. New lines. And the birds. I bet it plays and sounds great. Is this solid mahogany like an SG?

I actually think the body shape very closely resembles a double-cut Les Paul, of which I love the looks. I've tried to get along with Gibsons, but I guess they're just not for me. |
