Ok, so... if a guitar moves by moving air with its vibrations, how does one hear in space when there's no air to move? Isn't that why they have to wear radios to talk to one another? (that and that they'll die if they aren't in a pressurized suit of course). Just wondering about the technicalities here, as the first thing I thought of, was... about the sound and the physics of it. Probably a dumb question, but they must be able to hear 'em, right ?

Proud of them for picking a good brand and not some junker/entry level guitars. That would be painful, right?

Bravo!

There IS air inside the space station, otherwise the crew wouldn't be able to breathe. What is lacking inside the station is gravity.

Clearly it's been a long day; you know, I could sense the answer was nearby to that question as I was asking it.

Now, what about when they space-walk out into the abyss in one of those little chairs?

Umm, that's a different story altogether. That would be a good test for a carbon fiber guitar. [emoji14]

Are they studying the impact or tonewood selection in the vacuum of space?

“Based on extensive testing, we were unable to discern a noticeable difference between Brazilian rosewood and The Tree outside of the earth’s atmosphere.”

In space, no one can hear you . . . shred!

I hope vibrations in space don't attract predator aliens like a wiggling worm attracts a hungry fish.
