Default Yairi trio

Just wanted to share my wonderful trio of Yairi masterworks guitars.

I'm coming over from the electric world, but always had a love for finger-style guitar so I bought my DYMR70SB (left). I got it as a scratch and dent and got quite the discount, but the second I played it I was hooked. I don't know how to describe the tone, but it's the perfect balance of booming bass with sparkling high end.

Anyways, I know there was a thread about Yairi's which I saw on this forum a few weeks back, so I wanted to share mine and confirm that they are some of the best guitars I've ever played. Certainly the best guitars I own.

To the left, the DYMR70SB (Spruce and Rosewood)

In the middle, the CYM75 (Cedar and Rosewood)

On the right, the GYM90 (Koa)

Those are beautiful. I've been thinking a lot about the possibility of a Yairi recently, based on JP Cormier's reviews. Particularly interested in the DYMR70SB like you have, or the FYM66HD. Fingerstyle is mostly my style too.

I've been eyeing a DYMR70SB for a long while now. Missed my chance on an awesome deal for one a few months ago and have been kicking myself since. Great collection, Yairis are such amazing guitars.

I just got a new WY1TS and it’s a wonderful guitar. It holds it’s own with the three Martins I own, one of which cost almost 2000.00 dollars more. Congratulations on a very fine guitar.
