Default Guitar Storage Cabinet - Repurposed Furniture

Has anyone ever taken something like an old out of date TV armoire and converted it into a guitar cabinet? I've got a 7 guitar rack sitting right in front of one and seems like a no brainer to me to get more room in my cramped space.

Most TV armoires are deep enough to store acoustics leaned back at an angle.

This one appears to be made just for guitars:

Not mine below but very similar in size, has plenty of height and depth:

Looks like converting one into a mini bar also works well, but this one wouldn't work well for guitars.

I like your idea a lot. I am a great beliver in recycling/repurposing. There is too much waste.
If you don't have a cabinet a neighbor might. Also, check Craigslist under the free stuff. Sometimes, people just want to get rid of something quickly and are glad to have you take an item they no longer need.

Otherwise, places like Goodwill have these things at very reasonable prices.

This is something that I have considered with a former church organ that has issues .
