So far so good. Honoring their warranty is all I can ask for.
Man.

You're lucky.

Holly Riggins is wearing me out. She's asked for pictures, serial numbers, model #'s and on and on.

You would THINK this picture

Along with THIS picture

Would be enough.
This is OBVIOUSLY a Hercules stand and it has OBVIOUSLY failed.

I'm losing my normally good attitude and will keep you posted if they don't stand behind this OBVIOUSLY DEFECTIVE stand.

Excellent! Great to hear it. Like I mentioned earlier, I'm going to go through this process in a couple of weeks or so.

Hopefully you'll have the same success. I started with their website, which generated an email from Holly.

Discovered the new stand is the AGF version. They honored the warranty and gave me a more expensive stand.

Boom !

I got mine today too.

It took a little work, but it's a good stand, I have another that is 7/8 years old and it's been a workhorse. It wasn't the sticky stuff.

I also have on of their mic stands with the same type of quick release clamp deal.

Stand up Company.

Three cheers for Holly.

Mine too. Contacted them online, filled out the form, received a new stand in less than 10 days, model GS414B. All my other Hercules stands have the collapsible yoke, and are stellar This one I got as a replacement was a non collapsible yoke, which was the same style that disintegrated...also made in China. I like the new improvements to the grip and leg padding.

Sounds like they have great customer service. Thanks JPD.

Mine failed in the fall of 2020.

Hercules was only able to respond recently due to pandemic-period staffing. They are sending a replacement.

About a year or two ago - I had the same issue(s)- stickiness and broken adjustment trigger - with two Hercules stands - they sent me two brand new ones - no need to return the faulty ones...

Do you have a contact that you worked with getting your replacement? I’ve got a broken, sticky stand I’d like to get replaced.

Thanks

Blues

this conversation ended well over 2 years ago - Im sure no one is still waiting for an answer.

BTW Hercules fixed their material and have had no problems since (apparently)

Old topic, but I'm revisiting it for closure. Hercules did send me a replacement within a few weeks of my March 31, 2021 post.

I was able to resurrect my old stand by using an M6x25mm clamping knob as a semi-permanent method of locking the stand. These can be found on Amazon.
