It was 26 degrees, climbing to a high of about 60 yesterday. It's supposed to warm up a bit today...

Temp at daybreak was about 20C (70F). I had an early start so was already at work. We were knocked off at 1.30 when it hit 38C (100F). Peaked at 40 an hour later then a thunderstorm came & dumped 25mm (1") in my rain gauge in 20 mins. Cooled things down for a little bit but back up to mid 30s an hour later & like a sauna.

Not as mad as last week when we were hitting mid 40s (110F) & still getting the storms. Little black ants are trying to take over the house & everything in the vegie patch resembles a triffid at the moment. At least the salad bowl is full .
