OMG! I feel so old watching that! And brings back memories, as my grandmother had the exact same phone (I can still remember the number!).

Really? I am surprised.

I remember our first cordless house phone.
Look honey, we can walk out to the sidewalk and it still mostly works!

I don't remember being shown how to use a rotary phone when I was a kid. I just did it. I guess it maybe subliminal from seeing others use them though.

That was great Paul.
I'd like to see them type a letter on an old typewriter and maybe load/unload and shoot pictures on a 35mm film camera.

Maybe not teenagers, but there's a whole series of "Kids react to..." on Youtube.

They may be initially confused by a rotary phone but I bet they can code in half a dozen languages and hack the Kremlin.

My grandkids are always fascinated when I drag out the old albums and turntable. Watching that big vinyl circle rotate around and make music just blows their mind.

Heck...I didn't get a touch tone phone until the mid '70s. I remember my mother getting a princess phone in the late '50s, but it was still a rotary.

I cleaned out my mom's house this Summer. She still had two puke-green rotary telephones that were hard-wired in. Originals from when the house was built in 1964.

Well, I can't be too hard on them. I struggle just as much trying to figure out new tech.

That was great. I was yelling at the screen. PICK UP THE RECEIVER. ALL THE WAY AROUND FOR ALL THE NUMBERS. TAKE YOUR FINGER OUT OF THE HOLE
