Default Fender Acoustic JR 100w vs. Fishman Loudbox Mini

Hey y’all, I need an opinion. I am in the market for a small acoustic guitar amp with vocal channel. Has anyone compared the two and have any feedback on them? I tried the Fishman and it makes a strange electrical “groan” on power up. Is that normal? The fender is very quiet on power up and sound quality is pretty nice too. Both seem like great amps. Any ideas.. ?

Well, for starters, one is 100w and the other is 60w.

Just a question about the fender - does the DI out send everything including the EQ and effects or is it the dry signal?

I just literally today traded a 5year old Loudbox mini for this exact fender… you can send out wet signal to the PA. You can also send record via usb. The effects sound great (they did on the Fishman as well), but there are more of them here, including vibrato - which is very cool.

The tolex is much better on the fender, and it also has more low end to my ears.

Both great amps, but I’m happy I just traded. I may gig with it in two weeks, where it will serve as a monitor for me and I”” DI out to the PA.

So what's your take on the Fender Junior for vocals? Anyone compared it to a Bose S1 Pro or it's JBL Eon Compact? For me the vocal aspect is more important than the guitar (which is a compromise anyway if you use a pickup).

Thanks!

I have both the LB Artist and the newer Acoustasonic Jr.

I used the Fender for the first time out yesterday with my Es2 loaded 816ce Deluxe

The amp sounds really good, but it's not as powerful as the Artist.
