Default NGD 2000 Epiphone Casino

Wow - even sounds great acoustically and could almost be a desert island guitar. It wasn’t cheap but still 1/2 the cost of the new USA made Casinos and has a quilted maple top

Enjoy! Yes, some of the Epiphone stuff is pretty reasonable. Where it is manufactured is a big part of that equation.

I have an Epiphone Wildkat semi hollow body with a pair of P-90 pickups. The neck is a little bit on the chunky side for me, but other than that, a very nice guitar. Play it unplugged quite often at night.

Wow, congrats on the Casino! Guessing that 2000 still cost you a few bucks. Did you have it on your radar for long?

Default NGD 2000 Epiphone Casino

One of the good ones - sorry I didn't score one myself back in the day...

Use it well, often, and LOUD...

That’s in great shape. I have one from a couple of years after that, and I’ve always loved it. I was in a Beatles cover band for years, and I used the Casino and a Rickenbacker exclusively during that time. A Casino is not a one-trick pony, it always seems to be able to do any job you ask it to.

Great looking Casino! I have a recent model very similar to that one. The stock pickups were nice! I did upgrade to Lollars and they are a step up, but I could have been happy with stock too! Very nice guitar!

We just bought youngest son a Casino. He's a huge Beatles fan, so it had to be natural finish, like John's. It's an excellent guitar for the price, and actually, an excellent guitar full-stop.

Guess he didn't see this "before" shot:

He knows. But we weren't about to buy a 'burst and strip it back, were we?
