Default Very cool Fender serial number lookup site

Plug in your serial number and away you go. Some numbers will give you more info than others. Squier numbers apparently do not work.

Not even close. Apparently I have something that comes in a three pack.

Interesting. My basses came up spot on.

I tried it with four fenders, two early/mid 2000s American Strats, a mid 2000s MIM Strat, and a late 90s acoustic. All four came up with the correct description, color and model. The MIM strat came up as being manufactured one year after what I have in my guitar tracking spreadsheet. I'll have to check into that.

My cheap acoustic is part of a 6 pack. I wonder if retailers needed to purchase 6 at a time?

Apparently the same serial # can be assigned to different product lines, which is a little confusing. My '72 Precision bass came up as a Strat & another device in the 90's.

I tried the SN for both my strats, an ‘86 and a ‘96, with and without the prefix letter.
