Non fender strat pickups
I acquired a lovely 87 epiphone s310 a while back, and have decided to swap the pickups in favor of something more my style. I like the fender tex mex set from the Jimmie Vaughn model but I don't want to put fender parts in this thing. Any suggestions for other pick ups in that same vein around 100 bucks. So far I've looked at the tone rider city limits set.

Lace Sensor are pretty good (Hot Gold or Red are my personal faves), as well as Seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, and Guitar Fetish.
There's always eBay (for used take offs or non-branded pickups Dragonfire et al), strat-talk.com has a pretty good classified section devoted to just pickups as well as TDPRI and reranch. I have an Epi strat copy, not sure the model. Bought it for its cool metallic silver burst finish. Going to swap a Fender lic neck onto it, and upgrade the electronics (as they break) and hardware at some point as $$$$ allows.
