Default Harmony "Roy Smeck" Baxendale Conversion Guitar w/K&K Pickup & HSC

This is a Harmony Roy Smeck guitar from, I believe, the late 1940's. It has undergone the full Baxendale conversion process with new bracing, frets, tuners, etc so it sounds and plays fantastic.

This is the "holy grail" model for Harmony conversions according to Baxendale and it's definitely the cleanest example of a Roy Smeck I've ever seen. It comes with a K&K Pickup that Baxendale installed, a repro Bakelite pickguard that he made for it (the original was crumbling) and one of their hardshell cases.

The conversion was done about six months ago so there's no playing wear on the frets etc since then. Neck is straight, no breaks, no repairs needed, everything is ready to go.

$1699 Shipped & PayPal'd anywhere in the USA. Trades considered for similar vintage-style acoustics from Collings, Martin, Gibson, etc. I can't ship this internationally, sorry.

wow that is one nice guitar! I've heard all about these conversions but I've never seen one before on AGF.

What's the scale length and saddle spacing please?

Scale length looks to be 25" and string spacing at the bridge is about 2 & 3/8"

Wanted to double check thats correct at 2 7/8” string spacing at the saddle I’m interested in the guitar but that seems huge compared to anything I have played, even my 12 string. Let me know for sure if that is the correct measurement, if its a typo and closer to a normal spacing I will PM you. Thanks.

You're right, that's a typo... sorry about that! It's about 2 3/8" string spread at the bridge
