Default Christmas Present Ideas Thread

Our family is doing the Christmas present game this year where we draw numbers and you can confiscate/steal/trade others presents that have already been open. We did it last year and it is fun. It's just for the adults not the younger folks. So the presents have to be a little general I'd say.

Do any of you have any have any good, terrible or outrageous ideas for $50 or less?

A bottle of wine or whiskey. Usually someone will want to 'steal' that gift.

A warning...don't give yourself a guitar this year then.

Make a plate of your favorite cookies!...clear wrap the cookies very tightly in saran wrap, with a nice bow & ribbon tied up neatly. Before you do all that, place two layers of wax paper on the bottom of a new inexpensive Christmas plate, (put a $50 bill underneath it), place the cookies on top . No one will realize what you have done till they are done trading & swapping

Another one I have seen done is to buy a Chia Pet and place the cash inside the box. The individual who ends up with the Chia Pet usually is considered the "loser" of the gift grab bag and trading, till they open up the box and find the cash! (be sure to tape it shut after putting in the cash (hide it inside the animal).

Bluetooth speakers? Refurbished Amazon Echo Dot?

I've never had a home theater system and our TV has a tinny speaker. I'm at the point that I also like to pair my phone to my Amazon Echo so that I can listen to music, Pandora or podcasts hands-free. Either one of the items listed above would do in my case.

PS: when our parents come to visit they commandeer our TV remote and turn it up way too high. Putting a speaker next to where they like to sit makes a lot of sense.

Better watch it or the AGF agents might suspend your privileges.
