Default Neil Young's Fireside Sessions

Anybody watch Neil Young's Fireside Sessions? It always astonishes me how he can take something that isn't too difficult to play and yet when he does it, it's amazing. Pretty cool seeing around his home playing tunes.

Below is the link but it only works from a desk top. You need some app for it to play on a device.

Be well all

Thanks for sharing. And he's playing an Ibanez. I guess we don't need expensive guitars to produce great sounding music.

Been fortunate to have seen him live twice, fantastic concerts, floor level both times, love him.

Thanks for posting, Dloz! I was a big fan when I was much younger, and am currently trying to learn a few of his songs, so I will truly enjoy watching this as we shelter in place.

Joe, as the OP pointed out, you'll need to view this from a desktop. It's currently working for me as I type!

Mr. Page, Cobain, etc. are proof that we don't need expensive guitars. We only start believing that after hanging out on forums like these, lol.

This is exactly what I needed tonight. I played it on the desktop and mirrored it onto my TV. Thanks for the heads up. It was pretty sunny in NorCal, and that's certainly not LA, so maybe he's sheltering from Canada?

I saw Neil playing that same black Ibanez on a live stream for Bernie last Monday ("Heart Of Gold"). But what can anyone tell me about the J-45 he's playing indoors? The colors looked different from my laptop to my TV, so I can't tell if he played the same Gibson or two different ones. It looked red, then gold later on.

Ibanez in black and the Gibson is a 60s LG1....can’t take Hank’s D18 out by the firepit or the inside fire in the barn?

I watched it from a link in another forum yesterday, streamed it to my TV and watched it again after dinner with the Better Half. I really enjoyed the unplugged aspect, fairly junky guitars with old strings, Neil’s voice and the inventive harmonica holder and mic stand!

Fantastic..and he lives on Sugar Mountain!

Thanks for the clarification. It looked a little small to be a J-45, but I thought it was just an illusion, since I'm so used to him holding a full size dread in front of him.
