I vote to leave just the stars. I like the less is more style too.

I think the lines would detract from the stars. However, if it were possible (added work, I know) to have the K as an inlay that is slightly lighter than the headstock but still fairly dark and shaded and then have the stars superimposed on the K, that might fit the bill to keep the K in the works.

I'll vote leave it. I think the "K" lines may be too confusing.

I'd leave the stars as is, no constellation lines, no K.

I also vote "leave it", most especially since there is no star at the bottom, right point of the K. However, I would strongly consider the "constellation outline" theme if there were a star there.
