Well # 141 is in the house. 000 12 fret. Torrefied Lutz spruce, rosewood back and sides. Flamed maple binding. Picture is from The halcyon shop. More to come.

That looks awesome!
That's a very nice uniform torrified top as well! So many torrified tops seem to end up with rather pronounced dark bands or "racing stripes". Glad you got the low end you wanted. The lightness of the Halcyon build and the little extra depth really brings out that woody bass. never at the expense of clarity either. My dad (who knows nothing about music or guitars) was over the other day. I played him a tune on my Larrivee OM-05 followed by the same tune on the Halcyon OM. After I played the Halcyon he said "Holy crap, that second one sounds like it's plugged into an amp compared to the first one!". |
