UK Luthier - Duncan Lannin - anyone know about him?
I've seen a guitar of his for sale. It's a bit of a distance from me. Not sure whether to make the trek or not.
Anyone played his instruments or know anything about him? I believe he's based in Devon or somewhere else in the West Country but that's the beginning and end of my information. Can't even find anything on youtube.

It might be worth asking on the UK Acousticsoundboard forum. I`m sure you will find out on there.

I tried the Acousticsoundboard but no-one there has heard of him either. *shrug* I think I'll let this one go. I have enough guitars. *sharp intake of breath from the forum*

I have never heard of Duncan Lannin. A quick dig on Google revealed that one of the guitars in the gallery on his website sold at auction last year for £600.
There's another coming up for auction this March here - if you're anywhere near you may be able to view/try it prior to the auction. Cheers, David

Why does his guitar for auction have 8 strings? Looks like the G and D have a second string. Interesting.
