Flatpick primarily, but I fingerpick for some songs, flesh and nail. In recent years I have become much better at mixing chords with individual notes using a pick, so I'm now flatpicking songs I would previously have fingerpicked.
I too am surprised at the mix in the poll. |

About 70% finger-picking with thumb-picks and finger-picks, 30% with a flat-pick. I never play with bare thumb or fingers, I dislike the dull, mushy tone they produce. Unfortunately there’s no suitable option in the poll, so I haven’t voted.

I have enough issues getting multiple fingers on one hand to move in coordination.
Flatpick for me. D

When playing melody, I flat pick...when playing rhythm, I strum with my thumb and index finger...works for me...

I do both just about equally.
