Any thoughts on how this would fare on Richlite or Rocklite fretboards and bridges?

Hi Tim,
Sorry but I’ve not worked with either material. Since it’s a man made material it probably would not benefit from the oils in my product and it may not absorb the oil either. The waxes would give a nice sheen to it but since it has oils in it there is likely no benefit. The oils I use do not completely dry either so that may be another negative.

FYI: I just brewed up a fresh batch of our Fretboard Conditioning Balm. Now is the time to condition your Fretboard and bridge woods before the winter drying conditions are upon us.

Thanks Alan.

BTW, Here is a quote we received from a recent customer ...

"Hope all is well. I've been meaning to reach out, forgive me for taking so long. Just wanted to let you know I used the FB conditioner a few times now and I really like it. One guitar in particular, an Eastman, had something funky going on with the FB. It hurt my fingers after playing for an hour or so. Hard to explain, but regardless, after putting it on, following your instructions, that problem is gone. It feels almost silky now. I really like the stuff. You may be on to something here."

Ha! That was my quote! I'm still really liking it btw. I'm using it on 3 different guitars now.

Hi Tim (and Mary)

I’d like to jump on board…and try out your Magical Mystery Cure.
Where should I send your PayPal payment?

Hi Tim,
Thank you for the quick delivery. I have the Koa/LS Redwood back in the shop to install a clear pick-guard for my client, so I decided to throw in a string change while it was here. I took the opportunity to use my new McKnight’s Fretboard revival on the Ebony fretboard and bridge…..and I’ll just post a couple of pictures to show how wonderful this stuff really is.

No sunshine-pumping here, my Friend…..this stuff is awesome!!!
I love the way that feels while I’m applying it…..smooth as silk. A little went a long way, and it only required one application. I’m a fan for life.

Hi Joel,

Wow, what a gorgeous guitar! Thanks for trying our FB Revival product and I am glad you are happy with the results. I've tried nearly every commercial product on the market and this one beats them all as many have attested to. I am by no means some genius chemist but when I stumbled on this formulation it was very gratifying. Thanks again for giving it a try.

Tim very kindly gifted me a tin of this magical substance, and it turns out to be exactly what I've been looking for for years, to make fingerboards and bridges look prime-time splendid. When I am doing all the final detailing on a new guitar, prior to sending it out to its new owner, this is the finishing touch. I used to use lemon oil to finish off FB's and bridges, but it dries up in a day or two, and then the wood returns to its dull state. The Fretboard Revival balm renders a gorgeous luster, and it lasts and lasts. Over two weeks ago, I put some on a Ziricote bridge that hasn't been installed on the guitar yet. This morning, I took it out, ready to glue it on, and it still gleams, bringing out that beautiful figure, and adding a really gratifying elegance.
I'll be back for more, definitely. And I'm recommending it to all my guitar clients as well.

Thank you Tim!

Thanks for the positive review Steve.

I just brewed up another fresh batch this afternoon and now we are offering our Fretboard Revival in 3 sizes. The small tin is ($20), medium ($30) and large is ($40). The small tin is the perfect size if you are maintaining a couple guitars while the medium size will be better suited to folks who have collections that may be larger than they care to admit. The large is probably best suited for luthiers, techs and small shops who are servicing dozens of guitars a month.

If you’d like to place an order you can send your payment to our PayPal address in the picture below and then PM or email your mailing address. I can usually mail it the next day with a tracking number to follow.

Thanks for checking it out.

If you need any more testimonials to get you off the fence to buy this stuff....

I've had my Loriente for about 9 months now. I treated it with the Revival the first day I got it. Played it at least an hour a day since. Probably 4 string changes.

Today I restrung it and when I had the strings off I took an inside out cotton/terrycloth sock and rubbed the fingerboard out really well.

It returned to almost exactly the same look and feel that it had when I did it originally.

So, ad extra longevity to the mix too.

Hey thanks for the long term report Todd. Glad the product is still meeting your expectations. DarylCrisp had similar results and posted his review with pics here...
