Default Warm Audio 14 and Warm Audio 47 junior demo

No eq at all. Watch your volume.

The 14 is on the left and the junior on the right both back about 10-12" slightly angled towards the sound hole.

TB Man,

What's your opinion? I can't tell because I'm on headphones right now and each ear has a different frequency sensitivity.

Those sound really nice. It's a good tone you have going there.

I like it. My recording space will be upgraded over the next year so we'll see what happens there.

Thanks JK, I think the WA mics have a warm, but natural tone to them. The AT-2035 mics were warm, but slightly muted to my ears.

Gorgeous melody TBman. Love how the harmonics stand out.

For some reason at the 33-34 second mark....the tonality drastically changes. Before then the guitar sounds very natural...quite lovely actually. At that mark..almost sounded like a different being. Was that just the octave difference? Or did I mis interpret the post as to how the recording was done?

Thanks K&G. At the 34 second mark is a splice in of something similar but different I recorded moments after recording the first section. It's probably in a different key as I changed things up a bit. I made it all up as I was going along in those few minutes I was recording, so who knows

I think the recordings sound good, Barry!

It would be interesting to hear the sound with the mics placed about 8" away from the top of the guitar. Also, if you aim the WA-14 at the body of the guitar past the soundhole and the WA-47jr at about where the neck joins the body -- maybe aiming the mics a little more at the body than at the neck -- you could probably separate left and right sides in the stereo image and little more clearly. Just a thought.

I'm glad you are happy, Barry! It's nice to hear how good the sound is on your first attempt to use the new WA-14 mic. Very cool!

Sounds good to me, Barry. Nice stereo image, good overall sound.

I'm not sure why the warning about volume tho? Soundcloud mucks with the volume, so it's hard to know, but I'm seeing around -25LUFS, which is pretty quiet. CD level is around -15, so you'd need to be 10db hotter to reach a normal CD level.

Thanks Doug

I might have had my volume up and didn't realize the clip's volume wasn't that loud.
