Default It's ba-aaaack! Emerald Select Series

After a 6 month hiatus, there was an e-mail this morning for the Emerald October Select Series...

Some striking Padauk veneers and a nice variety of models.

Default Emerald Select Series is back!

Looks like the folks at Emerald have brought back the Select Series, this time with Candy stripe Padauk. I think they look fantastic. I’m somewhat in the market for an X20, now that I’ve fallen in love with the X7 I got just a few weeks back. But of course, the X20 in the series has already sold!

If I wasn’t already multipadauked I’d have at ... the only one would have been the gone already 20... didn’t quite match mine anyway...

I see that a 7 has also sold already. I don't know how Alistair maintains the pace. I expect to see a new calendar soon.

i admit i’m glad i ordered custom instead of awaiting the select series. all beautiful in their own right but i prefer the flame red veneers to the stripes.

I don't expect the X20-12 to last long either. It was wonderful to play and looks stunning in person. They all look great.

Less than 24 hours and half the collection is sold. That padauk is striking.

Looking at the X30, it's beautiful! I can't even think about it until at least two specific guitars get sold. I'm not a big guy, but love a big-sounding guitar, and having all those curves and bevels would make this an ideal instrument for me.

A multi-scale length (fan fret) X30 is a D35 killer.
