Default Emerald heart-swap surgery !

So, the saddle on my stock X7 is a wee bit high for my liking .... The saddle on my new-to-me X20 has been shaved a bit too much.

I have requested a new one from the Emerald isle, but meanwhile .....

Wish me luck boys, I’m a going in !

Did you use a local anesthesia on the bridges? My dentist does sometimes ...but that might be something completely different. Just wonderin'.

Kram, sadly I didn’t have anything,
so I took a good slug of ol’ red-eye and chowed down on a strip of rawhide.

The operation was something of a success, the X20 sounds better, louder and less buzzy for what I like to call my “style” ,,, ahem ,,,
but the action could come down just a teeny weeny

and the X7 is now a little quieter (apart from the buzzin’) and fractionally easier to fret.

Sooo,,, just in between the two sizes I have will be bang on for both of ‘em I’d say.

A gang banger, that's what you've become. Watch out for home land security. Strangely, you don't look like the traditional banger. That probably makes you all the more dangerous. Sneaky Brit.

I think it has something to do with "mash."

With the title of this thread, I was seeing Long Jon with a set of heart-shocking paddles, yelling, "Clear!" Then, LJ looking like Colin Clive and screaming, "IT'S ALIVE!"

Glad to hear both patients survived!
