LOL. Ah yes, with the coming of spring I will be switching from porters and stouts to IPAs, shanties and Hefeweizen.
Where does this fall though? They say that SA was instrumental in kicking off the microbrew movement in the US but I wonder if all these seasonal brews they put out have staying power year after year? Anyhoo, the true indicator that spring is here in the western Allegheny foothills/upper Ohio river region: the tulips and lillies have begun to sprout. I'll need to stock up on my antihistamines soon!

There it is! Sam Adams Winter Ale was my favorite beer years ago. I haven't had one in about 12 years though. Much easier to get when I was living in Boston.
