Default 2005 Martin D-18GE : No Longer For Sale!!

I have waffled on this guitar for a while now...was selling, then not selling, then trading...Back to selling again..at a reduced price this time so she hopefully sells before I change my mind again....welcome to my madness... :-(

This 2005 D-18GE is fantastic guitar. Not much more to be said really. She plays easy and has everything a D-18 Golden Era is supposed to have, and then some. Wonderful tone.

Adi top, Hog back and sides, golden era bracing, open gear waverly tuners.

Only marks I can see are on the bottom bout binding. Finish only. My guess is a previous owner used to stick this guitar up against the wall instead of in a stand...so the endge got bumped a little. See pic. Finish only.

Action is stellar, break angle is good with a ton of saddle left.

Includes a Martin Hard Shell case.

Cheers!

If I sold the OM-18A, I'd be all over this.

Used to play lead on one of these for a bluegrass band out of Northern, KY called Revival Ridge. These guitars are MASSIVE. Wow, if I weren't JONESING so bad for a CW I would be trying to procure this one.

Thanks for the positive comments!...This is a beauty...But most guitars are a tough sell as of late..even the outstanding deals... Dave's OM-18A is a prime example.....Should have sold months ago...!!

Good luck with the sale buddy

LOL...Life is currently handing me some lemons Drew buddy...so need to sell two of my fav's just to fix things...I obviously have issues, as even though I need the cash, I still considering a trade for an 814!!

That trade is now gone. Need the cash...But I'm getting offers here in the $1200 - $1800 range....and that isn't going to make the deal... So will leave this one here for another day or so...

Boy, somebody's going to wish they scooped this up at this price. Adirondack, GE braced; what more does one need?

Not a dread guy, and not in the market, but these are just frighteningly great guitars and I can't remember seeing one priced this low.

I've played this instrument along with Fraser's D45V, OM-18 Authentic, OM-28 Authentic, D-28 Authentic and a stellar 2015 D-18. In my opinion it is worth the cash and then some. (The only reason I didn't buy it is because I own the stellar D-18.)
