Breedlove Concert Pursuit CE Cedar/Mahogany, or Martin X Series GPCX2AE Macassar?
Hi,
Does anyone have any thoughts which is the better guitar: Breedlove Concert Pursuit CE Cedar/Mahogany, or Martin X Series GPCX2AE Macassar, both in mint condition and if cost wasn't a factor? Which one would you get and why if they were the only 2 choices and they cost the same? Thanks for ideas. https://www.guitarcenter.com/Breedlo...BoCm0IQAvD_BwE https://www.guitarcenter.com/Martin/...cassar&index=2 |

I have the Breedlove. It is a very nice guitar for the $500 I spent. I've played the Martin X series. They are not bad sounding and playing but I prefer mine made from trees. Breedlove, Taylor and others are working towards sustainable wood supply. I also have one of the Breedlove Organincs. Nicer yet! Not much more money.

I second the suggestion for a Breedlove Organic collection. They are all solid wood and a great buy.
