M80 or Anthem with pedal effects
Hi there, folks.
I'm with these two pickup options for my acoustic, and I would like to know about your personal experiences (or what you've heard about) with pedal effects. I'll gonna run my Acoustic Guitar into Reverb, Delay, Modulations (just tremolo, sometimes) and Compression. Thank you! And... once again... sorry for my rusty english! |

I have the full Anthem in a Martin DM. For Modulation and time based effects like you are looking for, it works fantastically. Honestly though, I would think any pickup will do well with tthose types of effects.

The M80 I have in one of my Taylors works extremely well with reverb, delay, chorus and compression. I agree - either one will work fine. The key is to get the sound you want from your guitar BEFORE effects and then just use them sparingly.
