A.J.Lucas Radial Classical for Healdsburg
This my second guitar I'll be showing at Healdsburg. It's my radial classical model, the lower bout being a circle with the bridge at its centre. The soundboard is Port Orford cedar with yew rosette, back and sides cocobolo, neck mahogany (from that school door frame again), fingerboard ebony. The bindings are yew and the head veneer is cocobolo and yew. Finish is French polish.

Very intriguing design A.J.! I love the aesthetics of the yew trim. It provides a nice compliment to the cocobolo. Does the name of the guitar mean you're utilizing an asymmetrical radial bracing, similar to Randy Reynolds (by way of Kasha...)?

The design started out with radial bracing radiating from the centre like spokes. The current arrangement is like that behind the bridge but with a tight fan in front of it.
