Default Anyone ID this luthier?

A friend got these photos this weekend at an estate sale. The person whose estate was being sold was involved with classical guitars in some way, maybe as a hobby builder, but I think as a musician. My friend believes these photos are of a Spanish guitar luthier. He wondered if I knew who the guy is. I do not (obviously) but figured this would be the place to find out!

That's definitely a fan-braced classical guitar he's working on. Not sure who it is, but GSI has a nice section on their web site with photos and bios of luthiers:

You (or your friend) could click through those.

You might also try posting on the luthier section at delcamp.

Just a guess, but this could be Spanish luthier Manuel Hernandez. (1895-1974).
He doesn't appear on the CGI site for some reason, but he was a major inspiration to the Japanese school of luthiers.
Not many photos of him. I found this one. Kinda looks like him:
