Nice memory! He (as part of the Youngbloods) opened up the first concert I went to at age 12 in July 1970.
I can also remember playing Darkness, Darkness in some garage band around then. Good times!

Is anyone familiar with that pickup he has in the soundhole? I've never seen on before. I'm assuming it's magnetic along the lines of a Sunrise. I like the sound of it.

Nice. He and his wife have a farm in Hawaii where they grow organic coffee that he offers on his website, HERE.

Come on people now... smile on your brothers and sisters. I remember hearing 'Ridgetop', the live rendition, on FM radio back in the mid 70s. The sax solo with the delay was/is mind blowing (and sax blowing!) and just awesome! Heard JCY at a No Nukes show in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1979... With Browne, Lindley, Raitt/Freebo, O'Keefe... all acoustic. 'Ban the Power Line!' was another message being articulated. Seems the show still relied on a lot of electricity... ?... Really nice show and performance.
