There's also this gizmo from D'Addario that works well.

Schaller strap locks. I have them on all my guitars. For performing guitars they are on both ends. For studio/practice/personal instruments, they are on the heel but not on the end.

Use a leather-punch to enlarge the hole, and lengthen the slit slightly. I use Sully’s Straps, and Sully punches the butt-end part of the strap with a slightly larger hole to accommodate an endpin-Jack.

Easy-peasy.

The usual disclaimers apply......IMHO, YMMV etc.

I use them too.. But how would I use Schaller locks on the end pin like the one in photo on this Acoustic?

I use this as well. One of the reasons that I like it is that I can move it from strap/guitar to strap/guitar combos with minimal fuss.

Someone recently posted a product that was for Schaller strap locks. It replaced, and threaded onto, the threads of the pickup jack, but had an attachment for the Schaller lock, it was pretty cool...

This^^^

The strap button shown in the photo looks much nicer to work with than the usual one that has a very thin outer lip with a narrow gap for the strap.

I add it to the end in line with the input jack. Just screw in the lock pin about an inch from the pickup jack. These photos are not mine.
