JohnnyD..........Ed got his start in Austin, while at U of Texas.......was one of the original hand crafted luthiers and in my opinion is one of the top 2 or 3 in the hand built arena.

This is priced to sell.

Another bump for Bruce, so he doesn't have to re-state the obvious.

Ed Claxton builds one of the best acoustic guitars on the planet.

I envy the person who will prove how much smarter he/she is than the general guitar-buying public by jumping on this one.

Dear Rob

Your Claxton is a beauty! It is my dream guitar, which I do not need.

Like you, I have too many guitars as listed on my signature and it is so hard to reduce the number especially for the more expensive ones.

Good luck on you sale.

Congratulations! I hope you’ll post a New Guitar Day thread.

(Cheap way to bump Bruce’s ad back to the top, I know, but why not share the Claxton love?)

Default No higher rung on the ladder than a Claxton BRW

You really need a new BEST, lifetime guitar...........this will be it.

4 weeks left til I leave town for the summer.........get this awesome Claxton now, before I leave or decide to keep it. I keep thinking I should every time I play it along with the McAlister and Froggy P12, all Brazilian, all phenomenal.

Got a chance to play this guitar last weekend. It really is stellar and of the 3 Claxton's in the room it really stood out tonally. It truly is a lifetime guitar. If your on the fence, take a big jump and you will be very, very happy you did.

I had one with same combination of fine woods. I must say it is one of those that got away.
