Default SOLD ~ 1959 Gibson Country Western, Jumbo acoustic, CHERRY Back and Sides, CLEAN!

This guitar is SOLD:

This is a nicely preserved 1959 Gibson Country Western.

The Country Western Jumbo bodied guitars are akin to their less ornate J-50 brethren. The C/W models have fancier appointments being an Inlaid Gibson Logo,
Crown headstock inlay, Individual Tuners, Parallelogram neck inlay, Neck binding, Multi-ply Top binding, a fancier Sound-hole Rosette inlay and a
Paper Label inside, which the J-45 and 50 models never had. The C/W is also a Spruce Top guitar with Mahogany Back and Sides.

Being a late 1950’s model, Gibson began staining the back and sides in Cherry Red, which they introduced in 1958 with the Red LP Juniors.
The earlier, pre 1958/59 Country Western models had a light Brown stain on the back and sides.
Gibson introduced the short-lived C/W model in 1956 and it ended in 1960 when it was merged into the Southern Jumbo model which could be ordered
in Sunburst OR Natural, but these earlier Country Western’s are the same as a Southern Jumbo model, but with a NATURAL top finish.
Gibson also continued to apply Country Western Labels to some of the post 1960 models.

The guitar is 61 years old now but in Very Nice Factory Original and Clean, preserved condition.
The action is low and it plays very easily too.

The entire guitar is crack-free and no one has ever drilled a Strap Button into the heel.
The Factory Hang Tag is still present too, which is a nice bonus, I rarely see the original big Hang tag with 1950’s Gibson acoustics much these days.
The guitar exhibits a light amount of wear and patina throughout but it's really NICE!

Comes in a Non-Original Hard Shell case. Most of these guitars were sold with a brown alligator Durabilt Soft-shell (pressed paper) case
and many of those light weight cases didn't survive.

If it helps anyone, I would consider a Deposit and Lay-Away, Terms to be discussed.

I have FAR to many instruments and this guitar is simply not getting used and someone should get to enjoy it.

This guitar is SOLD
