Default Come Thou Fount instrumental guitar arrangement

Two approaches, first is varied rhythm, second is straight-forward.
Thanks for listening!

Come, Thou Fount of every blessing
Tune my heart to sing Thy grace
Streams of mercy, never ceasing
Call for songs of loudest praise
Teach me some melodious sonnet
Sung by flaming tongues above
Praise the mount, I'm fixed upon it
Mount of Thy redeeming love

Oh, to grace how great a debtor
Daily I'm constrained to be
Let that goodness like a fetter
Bind my wandering heart to Thee
Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it
Prone to leave the God I love
Here's my heart, oh, take and seal it
Seal it for Thy courts above

I prefer the straight forward second version. BTW, do you have any of your hymn arrangements tabbed out for others? Like me? Lol

Thank you for the feedback. It's been helpful for me to actually listen to these recordings because I've noticed a lot of stylistic things I don't really like very much that I do out of habit probably.

I would love to try to write some of these out if I had the time! You might notice in the video a lot of these look basically recorded and it storage closet at a work office!

This is one of my favorites also. I also preferred the second version if for no other reason, it allowed the melody to stand out more. My buddy Steve Kinnaird oftens plays this one to demo his new guitars as it has so many open ringing notes it really shows off the instrument I think.

Thanks , you bet. Ive got almost 50 memorized now, but as soon as i hit record im a deer in the headlights. Ill pace myself at recording one or two a week. I have really enjoyed having short standalone worship tunes for those moment of 5 mins here, 5 mins there for guitar.... as you guys all know is often the case[emoji1]
