Mesa Rosette 300 acoustic amp
I bought one of these online from a guitar store on reverb. I was new in a open box. Never had been registered. I've been playing around with it; super complex in the fact there are more knobs and switches than the Apollo 11 space module. It does take some work to get it zeroed in for each guitar, but the things you can do with this amp!
I bought it for $800.00 so I think I got a good deal. https://postimg.cc/gallery/k7zu3l4c/ |

They are great amps and bulletpeoof. Built like a truck yet very flexible and articulate.
You def got a great price. Enjoy that Boogie.

That is a great deal, congratulations!
This amp is on my wish list and I haven't found it under $1,100. |

I found it in Reverb, had just posted a few minutes before I saw it. I then commenced to buy something else I had no money for! |

I got mine for $800 as well. Great amp!
There's a quick setup tutorial on YouTube. I used that and tweaked from there. Really helpful! |

Can you tell me what the loop of cable is on the back of the Rosette? Thx

I’ll have to see if that explanation is in the manual.

I have 2 of them, I got each for around that price a while back. One was new and unopened and one was new but opened. One on Ebay and one on Reverb, I think. They're both in perfect condition, of course, and they sound amazing. They're great amps! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
The speaker cable is what you're seeing on the back. It makes it easy to unplug to use a different cab or to remove the chassis. Common on electric guitar amps, not so much on acoustic amps. |

So does this have an active crossover or passive?

I can't say I've ever thought about it, and I don't think it's in the manual, but I'd say it has a passive crossover. With a single TS cable and the HF attenuation switch I can't see any way it's an active crossover.
