2004 Gallagher G-70 SOLD!
The G-70 is a classic herringbone rosewood design. The G-70 was the first rosewood Gallagher and has been the standard for bluegrass guitarist such as Chris Jones and Claire Lynch.
• Rosewood back and sides • Sitka spruce top • Ivoroid binding with herringbone trim and rosette • Traditional x-bracing The G-70 was the first rosewood model Gallagher guitar. The G-70 is a traditional rosewood Guitar, with the best Indian rosewood and our choice spruce top. The G-70 is bound with classic ivoroid binding and the body and rosette are trimmed with herringbone. The G-70 is fitted with an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and the headstock and fingerboard are bound with ivoroid. The finger board is inlaid with mother of pearl diamonds and squares. The bracing system for the G-70 is the traditional Gallagher voiced x-bracing. This guitar is perfect for those seeking a versatile guitar. It will give you deep bottom end perfect for playing those hard G runs and bright highs with a sweet rosewood sound. instrument has the traditional Gallagher 1.75" neck width at the nut and the 25.5" scale. Also very interested in Gibson style guitars in the vein of a J-45 or Advanced Jumbo type of instrument There are two small finish imperfections that are located on the binding of the guitar. One is near the neck heel and the other is on the outside lower bout. I considered having them fixed, but for how small they are and how long they have been there, I decided to leave them alone. Asking SOLD shipped and insured to the lower 48 Pardon the smudges, these aren't scratches.

Very nice guitar, I've looked at several Boucher guitars on line, never seen one in person. At this point, however, I'm more interested in something along the line of a J-45 or an Advanced Jumbo style instrument. I'm missing the Gibson sound! Thanks,Keith
