Default Looking for reversible weak pickguard adhesive for 2020 Nitro PRS

Hi All,

My new 2020 PRS S2 McCarty Thinline is showing light pickmarks (from gigs played standing) and I thought a pickguard might be warranted. The dimensions on a standard Gibson Les Paul pickguard fit the PRS pickup spacing and I thought I could take an inexpensive Les Paul pickguard and trim the rest of it to my tastes.

Ideally I could get something tacky enough to hold it in place; possibly just for the duration of a standing gig.

Maybe 3M has the right product???

Thanks,
Jon

Have you considered a static cling vinyl pick guard? They do not have any adhesive. However, they will have a reaction with nitro finishes if left on too long.

Yes I made one. Realized it would react and took it off, but could just leave it in the case and install when needed. Probably the best solution.
