Saw Daniel Champagne live

Drove 2 hours 2 nights ago to see Daniel Champagne play live at the Gold Coast. I'm not a big fan of "Guitar Pyrotechnics" like tapping and percussive playing but he's made it a real artform. He's Australia but often tours the US and Canada and is worth seeing if you get a chance. I was talking to him after the show and asked how many guitars he goes through a year and he told me Cole Clark has to make him an extra strong one to stop him beating the crap out of it. Also I was surprised to learn he doesn't use nails or fingerpicks (he uses a thumb pick), just bare skin. Anyway catch him if you can.
