Default Helix

Hey All,

Anybody here using a helix?

I been listening to a lot of utube examples good an bad. It seems the modeling is getting better an better an much of it is in how good are you at modifying or cutting frequencies an how good are you at putting effects in the correct order. It is good for electric or acoustic or voice.

I could easily spend the same or more money on a couple amps one tube. The helix just seems to be an all in one solution. I'm impressed with how good the good simulations sound.

Interested in opinions...

TIA

During this discussion I figured out how to make a great feedback killer using the three band parametric EQ.

I made the leap recently... sold a ton of pedals, still have a couple. But the goal is to simplify things since I can run electric, acoustic, acoustic dual source and voice all through it. Not at the same time of course, but there are 2 DSP's so I'm probably going to try voice and guitar at the same time.

It is a bit to learn. I've played with it for a few hours now and have a couple presets, but some routing things aren't a bit tricky to set up.

No regrets here...
